Turkish Medical Translation Services Alafranga has been translating medical documents into and out of Turkish since 2002, including clinical trial documentation, medical device instructions for use (IFU) and labeling, submissions to the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), pharmaceutical product information (SmPC and PIL, known in Turkey as KÜB and KT), patient-facing materials and medical device software. Medical translation is not an ordinary language task. The documentation affects patient safety, regulatory approval, product usability and legal exposure. In Turkish, it must also use the terminology the regulator expects and remain clear to the patient reading the leaflet. We translate it with structured QA, controlled terminology and documented workflows, for manufacturers and language service providers that cannot accept interpretation risk. |

▮ Apart from Turkish, which languages do you cover for medical translation?
We work across 40+ languages including German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, and Greek. For multilingual medical programmes requiring multiple language pairs simultaneously, we manage all pairs through a single point of contact with shared terminology governance and consistent regulatory alignment across markets.

We work in Trados and memoQ, or in the client's own translation system, with client-specific translation memories and glossaries maintained across every project. AI drafts are produced with the whole document in view, not sentence by sentence through a machine translation API, so terminology, cross-references and tone hold from the first page to the last. We are not tied to one model: we test models on your own sample files. A named specialist reviews and approves every output. → How we manage projects |
