Turkish Technical Translation Services

Technical documentation between Europe and Turkey, in both directions.

We translate technical documentation into and out of Turkish for engineering, manufacturing and industrial companies. Turkish has been our founding language since 2002, and we operate to ISO 17100:2015.

Turkish technical translation is not English translation with Turkish words. The EU and Turkey traded goods worth €217.6 billion in 2025, led by vehicles, machinery and electrical equipment (European Commission, DG Trade). Each of those shipments travels with documentation that has to work in the buyer's language.

▮Why Turkish Technical Translation Matters for European Business

Turkey was the EU's fifth-largest trading partner in 2025, and the EU is Turkey's largest partner for both exports and imports. Some 42.7% of Turkey's exported goods went to the EU, and 35.3% of its imports came from the EU. The Customs Union, in force since the end of 1995, lets most industrial goods cross the border without tariffs. Source: European Commission, DG Trade.

In practice this means European companies selling machinery, building factories and running joint ventures in Turkey, and Turkish manufacturers exporting vehicles, equipment and components into the EU. Both directions produce technical documentation.

▮Two Directions, Two Kinds of Work

  • Into Turkish. European manufacturers selling or producing in Turkey need operating manuals, safety documentation and technical files in Turkish, with terminology that matches Turkish standards (TSE). See how we translate technical documents into Turkish.
  • Out of Turkish. Turkish manufacturers exporting to the EU need English, German, French or Italian documentation that meets EU requirements: CE technical files, declarations of conformity and user manuals written for the target market.

▮The Industries Driving EU-Turkey Trade

  • Automotive: Turkish automotive exports reached a record $41.5 billion in 2025, around 70% of it to Europe (OSD figures reported by Daily Sabah). In the other direction, Turkey is now the third-largest market for new vehicles exported from the EU (ACEA). Every vehicle, component and assembly line comes with manuals, specifications and compliance documentation. More on automotive translation
  • Machinery and industrial equipment: Machinery is one of the leading goods traded in both directions. Turkish manufacturers supply machinery, HVAC systems and industrial components to European buyers, and European machinery builders sell into Turkish factories. Operating manuals, safety data sheets and installation guides travel with every shipment. More on industrial translation
  • Electrical and electronic systems: Electrical equipment is, with vehicles and machinery, one of the main goods traded between the EU and Turkey: power grid equipment, home appliances and automation systems. Technical documentation, interface text and compliance certificates all need translation. More on electrical and electronics translation
  • Construction and infrastructure: Turkish construction firms work across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Project specifications, safety documentation and regulatory filings have to be translated into and out of Turkish for every market they enter.
  • Textile manufacturing: Not always thought of as technical, but it involves machinery documentation, quality control specifications, chemical safety data sheets and CE compliance, all of which need precise translation.
Tariff-free does not mean language-free. Every product, every machine and every safety document still has to work in the buyer's language.
