Case Study: Delta Plus Group
From Turkish Product Catalogues to a 13-Year, 25-Language European Safety Equipment Programme

About Delta Plus Group
Delta Plus Group is a French multinational specialising in personal protective equipment (PPE) — founded in 1977 and headquartered in Rousset, France. The group designs, manufactures, and distributes safety equipment across five product families: head protection, eye and face protection, hearing protection, hand protection, and fall protection.
Delta Plus operates in more than 90 countries through a network of subsidiaries and distributors, with manufacturing sites across Europe and Asia. The group is listed on Euronext Growth Paris and has grown significantly through acquisition — adding brands including Maspica, Artex, Alsolu, Safety Link, and Drypro to its portfolio during the period of Alafranga's collaboration.

Delta Plus's Turkish subsidiary — Delta Plus Personel Giyim ve İş Güvenliği Ekipmanları Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi — was among the first points of contact, reflecting the importance of the Turkish market to the group's European distribution strategy.

How It Started
Alafranga's relationship with Delta Plus began in 2012 — with Turkish.

The earliest projects were product catalogues and user instructions translated into Turkish: safety gloves, fall arrest equipment, welding footwear, and eye protection — all requiring precise technical terminology aligned with EU safety standards and CE marking requirements. Turkish was the entry language, reflecting Delta Plus's active expansion into the Turkish occupational safety market.

As Delta Plus's confidence in Alafranga's delivery grew, the scope expanded — first into additional European languages, then into large-scale multilingual programmes covering the group's full product range across all major markets. By 2020 and 2021, individual projects were being delivered into 23, 24, and 25 languages simultaneously.

Scope of Work
Over 13 years of continuous collaboration, the programme covered five distinct content areas:

  • Product documentation and user instructions
Safety data sheets, user instructions, installation guides, and technical documentation for Delta Plus's full PPE range — gloves, footwear, fall arrest systems, eyewear, and hearing protection — translated and updated across product versions and regulatory updates. Content required alignment with CE marking standards and EU PPE Regulation (2016/425) terminology throughout.
  • Product catalogues
Full catalogue translations — including DTP — into Turkish and other languages, covering Delta Plus's complete product range with consistent terminology across all product families. Multiple catalogue editions delivered over the course of the relationship.
  • Multilingual content programmes
Large-scale batch translation projects delivering product descriptions, compliance content, and web texts simultaneously into 10, 15, 23, 24, and 25 languages — coordinated through a single workflow with shared glossaries and terminology governance across all language pairs.

  • Corporate and financial communications
Quarterly and annual revenue announcements, half-yearly financial results, acquisition press releases, stock exchange communications, and investor relations documents — translated from French into English and other languages on tight deadlines. Delta Plus's regular Euronext Growth Paris communications were a consistent part of the programme.

  • Newsletters and marketing content
Monthly newsletters translated from French into multiple European languages, corporate presentations, social media guides, exhibition materials, and RSE (corporate social responsibility) content — delivered on a recurring basis throughout 2021 and 2022.

  • Legal and compliance documents
Terms and conditions, legal notices, REACH compliance documentation, declarations of conformity, dealer agreements, and anti-corruption codes — translated for individual European jurisdictions.

  • ERP and software content
Minos ERP system content translated into German, reflecting Delta Plus's internal systems localisation needs alongside external-facing product content.

  • Glossary development
Client-specific terminology glossaries built and maintained in Turkish, French, and other languages — ensuring consistent product naming and technical terminology across all content types and all language pairs.
