Built to handle complexity. Since 2002. When a large project arrives — multiple languages, multiple file types, tight deadlines, regulated content — the question is not just whether a translation agency can translate. It is whether they can manage it. Alafranga Language Solutions has been managing complex translation and localization projects since 2002. The infrastructure behind every delivery has been built, tested, and refined over 23 years of real operational history. |

More than a vendor. A language partner. Every program starts with the right people. We assemble a core team around your content type: a lead translator and editor, a subject-matter reviewer, a project manager, a DTP specialist, and a quality lead. Overflow linguists and a Human-in-the-Loop reviewer are added for peak volumes and deadline-critical work. |
▮Specialist Network
Our network of 2,000+ vetted language specialists was not assembled overnight. Every specialist has been assessed through real project work — subject-matter expertise, CAT tool proficiency, domain-specific terminology handling, and delivery reliability tracked over time.
▮Project Management Infrastructure
Our centralised project management environment has been active since 2009. It covers the full project lifecycle:
- Project intake and briefing
- Vendor assignment and scheduling
- Workflow tracking and milestone management
- Feedback and revision management
- Financial tracking and invoicing
- Documentation history — traceable across all projects
▮Quality Governance Framework
Our quality framework operates on four levels according to ISO 17100:2015:
- Quality Assurance Guidelines — review protocols, QA checkpoints, error classification
- Contracting Guidelines — NDA, confidentiality, IP, liability — standardised across all engagements
- Project Management Guidelines — intake, briefing, workflow, delivery standards
- Vendor Assignment Guidelines — domain matching, CAT tool requirements, performance criteria
▮File Format Capacity
We return every deliverable in the same format as the source — press-ready or web-ready, without additional design work on your side.
- Document formats: DOCX, PDF, PPT, XLS, ODT
- Publishing formats: INDD (InDesign), FrameMaker, QuarkXPress
- Web and software formats: HTML, XML, XLIFF, JSON, RESX, PO, YAML, STRINGS

▮Common Questions
- How do you manage large multilingual projects with multiple translators? Every large project is managed through our centralised PM platform — a single environment covering task assignment, workflow tracking, communication, and delivery management. For projects with multiple translators working simultaneously, all team members are connected to the same shared translation memory and glossary in real time. Every approved segment is immediately available across the team. Centralized QA runs across all outputs before delivery. The result is consistent output regardless of project volume or team size.
- How do you vet the specialists in your network? Every specialist in our network has been assessed through real project work — not through a self-registration form or marketplace profile. We track subject-matter expertise, CAT tool proficiency, domain-specific terminology handling, and delivery reliability over time. Specialists are assigned to projects based on domain match and performance history — not availability alone. We have been building and maintaining this network since 2002.
- Can you work inside our TMS or CAT environment? Yes. We work natively in MemoQ and SDL Trados, and can adapt to other CAT and TMS environments where required. We apply your existing translation memories and glossaries from the first segment of every project. For ongoing programmes, we can connect directly to your CMS or TMS platform to ensure seamless file transfer and version control. CAT discount matrix is applied as standard.
- What quality certifications and governance standards do you operate under? We are certified to ISO 17100:2015 — audited by Bureau Veritas, not self-declared. Our quality governance framework covers four operational levels: Quality Assurance, Contracting, Project Management, and Vendor Assignment. We are ATC and EUATC members since 2007. GDPR aligned.
