New Website — Same Agency, Clearer Story
We have launched a new version of turkishtranslationagency.com.
The previous site was built when Alafranga was a different size and a different structure. It did not reflect what we actually do today. The new site does.
Why now
The past few years brought significant disruption to the translation industry — and to the broader online ecosystem. AI changed how content is produced, how search works, and how agencies are evaluated. Some agencies disappeared. Others repositioned overnight without changing anything operationally.
We took a different approach. We rebuilt the site from scratch — structured around the new discovery environment, with content written to reflect what we actually do, not what sounds good in a brochure. Every page was written by us. The case studies are real. The numbers come from our ]Project Open[ database. The blog posts are written by Volkan, not a content agency.
What changed on the site
The new site reflects services we have developed in response to how the market is moving:
- AI-Assisted Translation is now a named service — our SmartEdit workflow, where a controlled AI draft is reviewed by a human specialist inside MemoQ or SDL Trados, with client TM and glossary enforced throughout.
- Quality Review & Post-Editing is now a standalone service. More organisations are producing translations in-house or with AI tools — and finding that the output needs independent review before publication. We have been doing this work for years. Now it has its own page.
- Multilingual Programmes is now clearly represented. Managing ten languages is not the same as managing ten translators. The new site explains what a coordinated multilingual programme actually involves — one coordinator, shared glossaries, consistent QA across every language pair.
- AI Integration consulting has been added — for organisations that want to design their own AI-assisted or human-automated workflows, integrate translation into their documentation systems, or build governance models for AI-generated content.
- AI Assistant is now available on the site. Visitors can ask questions in their own language and get immediate answers about our services, workflows, and capabilities. It is not a chatbot with scripted responses — it works from the actual content of the site, so the answers reflect what we do, not a generic FAQ.
What is changing on the domain side
alafrangaltd.com will be taken offline shortly — all traffic redirects to turkishtranslationagency.com.
subtitlelocalization.com remains active as a separate domain for our media localization team.
What did not change
The agency. The team. The standards. The founder.
Alafranga has been active since 2002. Turkish technical translation is still the core. The vendor network, the long-term client relationships, the ISO-aligned workflows — none of that changed. We just finally have a website that says what we are.
