Turkish players expect games that feel native — not translated. With 47 million active gamers and one of Europe's fastest-growing mobile markets, Turkey is no longer an optional market for studios with global ambitions. It is a priority.
Alafranga Language Solutions has been delivering English to Turkish game localization since 2002. MMORPGs, mobile titles, console releases, browser games — we have worked across every major genre and platform. Our game localization team combines linguistic precision with gaming knowledge — translating not just text, but tone, terminology, and player experience.

More than a vendor. A language partner. Every program starts with the right people. We assemble a core team around your content type: a lead translator and editor, a subject-matter reviewer, a project manager, a DTP specialist, and a quality lead. Overflow linguists and a Human-in-the-Loop reviewer are added for peak volumes and deadline-critical work. |

▮Terminology Governance
Game localization fails when terminology drifts — a character name that changes between scenes, a skill that is called three different things across UI, tutorial, and manual. We build and maintain game-specific glossaries from the first segment, applied consistently across all content types and update cycles.
For team projects, all translators work on the same shared translation memory and glossary in real time — ensuring consistency across large volumes regardless of how many specialists work on the project simultaneously.
▮Workflow Options
- HumanExpert — translator and independent reviewer. For narrative content, dialogue, and culturally sensitive material where tone and player experience are non-negotiable.
- SmartEdit — AI draft inside MemoQ or SDL Trados with game-specific TM and glossary applied, reviewed by a Turkish game specialist. For high-volume UI strings, patch notes, and repetitive content where turnaround matters.
▮For Chinese Game Studios
Turkey is the natural first market for Chinese studios expanding into Europe. Turkish players are among the most engaged mobile gaming audiences in the region — and localization is not optional. Turkey ranks 71st in English proficiency globally. A game that reads like a translation loses players at the first session.
We have experience with Chinese-source game content and can advise on the most efficient workflow for your content type and volume. QQ or WeChat available for project communication.
▮For LSPs
We work as a white-label Turkish game localization partner for LSPs and game localization agencies. Inside your tools, under your brand, with NDA as standard. MemoQ and SDL Trados native. CAT discount matrix compatible. Active since 2002 — references available on request.
