AI Translation Audit

Your company translates with AI. Nobody checks the result.◆

Fluent is not the same as correct. AI translation reads well and hides its errors until a customer finds them.

  • The same part has two names in two manuals.
  • Nobody knows who approved what went out.
  • It all depends on one person who “knows the tool”.
  • Customer files have gone into free AI tools.

We find where your process is out of control, and design one where AI does the work and a named person approves it.

▮AI can do more of the work. A person still approves it.

AI agents and translation engines can take part in every step, from the file you send to the file you deliver. At each step, a named person makes the decision. That person can be someone in your team or one of our specialists, depending on the route you choose.

What AI can do What a person decides Who approves
Sorting content Sort incoming content by type and risk: AI with review, AI with double review, or fully human Confirms the route for each document, especially anything legal, medical or safety-related Your team or us
Preparing files Check formats, extract text, count words, find hidden text, locked content and images with text in them Confirms the files are complete and ready Your team or us
Terminology Extract key terms, check them against your glossary, list new or conflicting terms Approves new terms and settles conflicts. Only approved terms are used. Your terminology owner, with our help
Reusing past work Fill in sentences already translated and approved in earlier versions Nothing, unless the source has changed Automatic, rules set in advance
Translating Draft the translation with your terminology and past translations applied Reviews and corrects the draft, sentence by sentence A specialist in the target language
Second review Flag sentences where the meaning may have shifted, for high-risk content only An independent second specialist reviews flagged and high-risk content Us, or a second reviewer in your team
Layout Check text length, overflow, missing characters and fonts in the final document Checks the final pages visually Your team or us
Delivering Final consistency and completeness check across all files Gives final approval. Nothing goes out without it. One named person, always
Learning from the job Update translation memory and glossary with approved content only, log the issues found Confirms what goes back into the memory and glossary Your terminology owner or us
Reporting Summarise errors found, by type and frequency, per period Reads the trend and decides whether the workflow needs adjusting You, with our monthly report if we run the workflow

Our rule for every workflow we design: agents prepare, rules execute, tests prove, a named specialist approves.

Not every step is needed for every company. A small team translating a few manuals a year may need four of these steps. A company publishing weekly in several languages may need all of them. The audit decides which steps you need, where AI takes part, and who approves at each point.

▮ You decide who does the checking

There is no single right workflow. It depends on your volume, your languages and who you have in-house. We design the steps, the AI agents and the approval points around what you already have.

1. You translate and check in-house.
Your team keeps translating with AI. We set up the checks around them: which content may go to AI, terminology lists, automatic checks for numbers, units and terms, and a clear rule for who approves before anything goes out.
Suits companies with bilingual staff and regular, predictable content.

2. You translate, we check.
Your team produces the AI translation and sends it to us before release. A specialist in each language reviews it, corrects it and returns it with a short report of what was found. Your terminology is kept and updated with every file.
Suits companies that want to keep AI in-house but have no one who reads the target language.

3. We do it from start to finish.
You send the source file. We prepare it, draft with AI where it is safe, review with a specialist and deliver a checked file. Content that must not go to AI is translated fully by people.
Suits companies that do not want to manage translation at all.

Or a mix. Product descriptions in-house, manuals checked by us, safety and legal texts fully human. Most companies need different routes for different content, and the audit tells you which route fits which content.

In every option, AI can take part in every step, and a named person approves before anything reaches your customer.
