▮Why Turkish Technical Translation Matters for European Business

Turkey is the EU’s fifth-largest trading partner. In 2024, the total value of EU–Turkey trade in goods exceeded €210 billion, a record high, built on a Customs Union that has been in force since 1996. Around 41% of Turkey’s exports go to the EU, and roughly a third of its imports come from EU member states. This isn’t abstract economics. It means European companies are operating in Turkey every day, selling machinery, building factories, supplying components, running joint ventures. And Turkish manufacturers are exporting vehicles, industrial equipment and steel into the EU at growing volumes.
