Our solution

In the beginning of the project, the corporate glossary, translation memory and reference materials were missing. For this reason, industry-standard glossaries, experience and understanding in electrical products and components had paramount importance in running the translation process. Our senior project manager contacted, booked and assigned a seasoned technical translator who had a proven track record in understanding the electricity and electronics terminologies.

For the linecard translations project, English versions had to be perfectly translated into Turkish. Because, we knew by experience that each linecard TR version will be reviewed by each company's local expert. If any spot is detected, this could have been raised as a problem. So, this was a challenge for everybody.

We used SDL Studio Trados as CAT tool. After translation step finished, an independent technical translator reviewed whole translations segment-by-segment to deliver an accurate, complete and stylish Turkish version. As the last step, spot-checks and final-eye were carried out by our dedicated project manager to verify the quality before delivery.

Our customer was very satisfied linecards translations and we translated database and interface translations too. Our collaboration is active.
