Indirect Client: Transfer Multisort Elektronik
Transfer Multisort Elektronik Spç z.o.o. is one of the biggest global distributors of electronic, electromechanical, industrial automatic components as well as workplace equipment. The company employs more than 800 employees in its headquarters in Poland and subsidiaries in other countries. TME supplies several dozen thousands of companies in 140 countries and sends 5000 packages a day.
TME's requirement
We were trusted by our customer to translate the linecards belonging to the enormous amount of companies specialized in supplying electricity and electronics components.
Keywords: electronic components, TME, distribution, semiconductors, connectors, sensors, passive components, electromechanical parts, automation, industrial automation, cables, wires, tools, power supplies, LED lighting, microcontrollers, development kits, soldering equipment, electronic kits, measurement tools, circuit protection, enclosures, prototyping, technical support, global shipping, online store, inventory management, electronic parts supplier, engineering solutions, electronics manufacturing, customer service
Our Solution: At the start of the project, there was no corporate glossary, translation memory, or reference materials available. Therefore, industry-standard glossaries, along with expertise in electrical products and components, were critical during the translation process. Our experienced project manager expertly selected and assigned a technical translator with a proven track record in electrical and electronics terminology. For the linecard translations, it was crucial that the English versions were translated flawlessly into Turkish, as each linecard would be reviewed by local experts from each company. Any detected issues could have raised concerns, making this a key challenge. We used SDL Studio Trados as the CAT tool. Once the translation was completed, an independent technical translator meticulously reviewed the content segment by segment to ensure an accurate, polished Turkish version. Finally, our dedicated project manager conducted spot checks and a final review to ensure the quality before delivery.
