Translation Quality Review & Post-Editing

Independent Review for Al, MT and Human Translation Output

You're already using AI for translation. Is it working? Whether your content was machine-translated, AI-generated, or produced by a freelancer without a review stage, our translation quality review and post-editing service applies a structured quality layer before it reaches your audience, your clients, or a regulatory body.

If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place:

AI or MT output is inconsistent across languages and teams
Translated content goes live without an independent quality check
You're not certain whether your translation meets the standard your content type requires
You have a translation but no confidence it's ready to publish

What We Review
  • Linguistic accuracy
We check the translation against the source text for meaning, completeness, and fluency. Mistranslations, omissions, dropped qualifiers, and unnatural phrasing are identified and corrected.

  • Terminology consistency
We align your translated content against client-specific glossaries and previously approved terminology, ensuring consistency across documents, teams, and language versions.

  • Formatting & structural integrity
Tags, numbers, dates, units, and formatting are checked against the source. Structural issues introduced during translation or file conversion are corrected

  • Cultural & tonal appropriateness
We review content for cultural fit in the target market, tone, register, idiomatic expressions, and any phrasing that may carry unintended meaning

  • Compliance-critical content
For regulated content, we apply a stricter review protocol by checking against source text line by line, with a full QA report on request.

Questions and Answers

Can you review a translation produced by another agency or an AI tool?
Yes. We review output from other agencies, freelancers, machine translation engines, and AI tools. We treat the source text as the reference and check the translation against it, identifying accuracy errors, terminology inconsistencies, formatting issues, and compliance gaps.

What does the QA report contain?
A record of every change made, grouped by error type, with the source and target segment shown side by side. It tells you where the problems were concentrated, which is usually more useful than the corrections themselves. Available on request for any review level.

When is post-editing more expensive than translating from scratch?
When the underlying MT or AI output is poor enough that the reviewer rewrites more than they correct. We assess source quality before committing, and we will tell you if retranslation is the cheaper route.

Can you handle confidential documents?
Yes. Project data is held in our own ]Project Open[ installation, self-hosted in the EU since 2009, not on third-party services. NDAs are signed at company and individual specialist level.

Do you review languages other than Turkish?
Yes. Turkish has been our core pair since 2002, and our specialist network covers 40+ languages. Review is available in any pair we translate.
